I hope there's no vegans following this thread.😜

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Seeing West Ham win the Europa Conference League this morning

I'm not a Hammers fan, but when they came to NZ, the squad were so nice and friendly to my kids (who were quite young at the time), posing for photos and being really quite gracious.

Happy to see them succeed.

My collection is growing. It took 24yrs to back up my first hole in one with a second but only 9 months to add a third.  I may never fill that fourth spot but I'm ok with that.

Needs a reference for each one....date / Course / Hole. A hole in one in the backyard doesn't count. 😁 (Well done by the way)

No. 1  Carbrook Golf Club 14th hole (Brisbane, Australia) around 1998. Don't know the month

No. 2  Titirangi Golf Club 14th hole (Auckland). August 2022

No. 3  Muriwai Golf Club 17th hole (Auckland). 4th June 2023

I very nearly made my 4th on Sunday on the 8th hole at Muriwai. Lipped out and finished 3 inches from behind the hole. Two in the same round would have been some shout at the bar!

Where and how, please?

It’s in Abu Dhabi. I believe it’s playing in Auckland at the moment.

Thanks, enjoy! I was hoping you might have tips about getting tickets for it on Broadway.

I can help with that. What you do is catch an Uber from Broadway to the airport, fly to Abu Dhabi, watch it there, fly back, and get another Uber back to Broadway. Easy.

Wrong preposition. On, not from. :)

Getting numerous small jobs (2-3 hours each) finished around the house. We didn't really need the kickboards fitted in the laundry for the last 12 months....

Just had my fun setting up a 7.9 m2 kitchen in the office using planning software - Sokoban is nothing compared to that.

Reading the plaque on the wall in the rec room of my mother-in-law's dementia care home.

The room is dedicated to the founder of The Sisters of Mercy, although strangely it isn't called the Eldritch Room...

Sisters or Mercy. Aren't they a Death Metal band out of Norway?

Who would have thought 10 years ago that the "light bulb" on the ceiling would get a software update? But that is exactly what I have just done.
