Behodar:

Today's grizzle is with trying to update some third-party software. The highlighted line in particular, although the next two aren't much better!

I'm kinda hoping that software isn't for keeping an airliner aloft, or a life support machine operating...

That's not its intended use, but I can't guarantee that it's not being used for that anyway! I do believe that some of it is used in the French rail network though...

I have no idea what it should say so that's possibly correct to me!

D'oh. Check out the definition of vegetarian.

Someone who does not eat meat. Not someone who refuses to associate with meat eaters, eat in the same building etc.

Someone who keeps telling everyone they're a vegetarian.

Oxford Learner's Dictionary (which you may have need of): "containing or serving no meat or fish; a vegetarian diet; a vegetarian restaurant"

Interestingly the "full" OED doesn't go as far as "serving no meat"; it does mention restaurants but just says that they "relate to vegetarians" (as in the people).

Vegetarian is an adjective as well as a noun. It is like being a little bit pregnant. By definition a vegetarian restaurant does not serve meat. If it does, it is not a vegetarian restaurant. It is just a restaurant that may or may not have vegetarian meals. There is nothing hard about this.

I can't get my head around this whole vegetarian thing.  If we are not supposed to eat animals then why are they made of food?

Auto-correct is why I have crust issues.

Something small that really annoyed me yesterday was Google locking my account and going completely ballistic because I checked my email from a friend's IP address. I had about 200 hysterical warnings that someone had stolen my login and I had to keep issuing reassurances that yes, it was really me. Surely an outfit with Google's technical capabilities could come up with something a little less ham-fisted?
