Slow Horses still delivering. The episode Missiles was great. Jackson Lamb's dialogue is gold and everything he does has always a good reason, even though he looks like a bumbling idiot - perfect disguise for a spy.

Agree . Just finished watching it. Bloody brilliant.
I wonder if they would bring the other cast member Rosalind Eleazar?
Not by  watching the trailer for the next seasons though!

Also note the disgusting ending confirms a tale spoken of earlier in the season. Brilliant background.

'Down Cemetery Road' - watched the first few episodes, it has promise and I suspect is likely to end up being very good.

Wife and I have started watching this.
So far, so good!

Emma Thompson is really good in that role! This is shaping up quite nicely.

King and Conqueror.

It's a retelling of the time of King Harold and William the Conqueror.

It's pretty gritty, very well acted and produced and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

You can almost smell them...they all just need a bloody good wash.

Watching Apple Pluribus.

Features a popular science fiction trope.

First two episodes were interesting, but third was annoying.

I have watched all the different series of Mystery Road on ABC. What really impresses me are the stunning panoramic sunrises over the desert landscape but the rest is also pretty good. I really enjoy these episodes featuring an aboriginal cop fighting crime in the outback as he tries to find his place between two worlds. Good production values, good scripts, good acting, good directing. Not perfect, but good.

I've started watching House of Guinness on Netflix.

Based on true stories, but very much fictionalised and set in Victorian(?) times, it's a great watch, much like Peaky Blinders was.

I'm really enjoying it at the moment. 4 episodes in.

Watched the first episode of The Hack on TVNZ+. David Tennant plays a Guardian journalist who ended up exposing the News of The World phone hacking scandal which led to its demise. Really enjoying  the style of it.

However, if you look at the link above it was originally dropped in the UK as a series on 24 Sep this year. It's rather annoying that TVNZ are dropping it at an episode per week, very frustrating.

As an aside I find it strange that the drama offerings on TVNZ+ are often far better than the programming offered on their terestrial/satellite channels. (same can also be said about TV3).

You can keep your Alien Earth bollocks, I read this afternoon that Prime Video has finally broken the drought and ordered a new series of Stargate with Stargate Altantis executive producer Martin Gero as showrunner. Original TV creative forces behind the previous three shows, Brad Wright and Joe Mallozzi, will be "consulting producers".

Oh please God, don't let them stuff it up.

I'd be hoping they do this as well as they did the fantastic effort of The Expanse.
