I rode the e-Vespa to work today. Found a good parking spot for it.

Lots of comments. And the good thing about the two wheel community is that there isn't much snobbery around. The little green Vespa just seems to win fans from every corner.

Today I got chatting to work colleague who rides a Ducati and he wanted to know everything I could share about the Vespa. At the weekend I pulled up in a car park along side a guy who was getting off his KTM adventure touring bike. Long conversation ensued and he just couldn't get over the fact that it was electric. And just now on the way home from work I was stopped at the lights when a  guy on a Harley filtered up past stopped traffic alongside me. He gave me a look and just shook his head and laughed. When the light turned green I twisted the throttle and left him behind. He pulled up alongside me again at the next set of lights and just gave me a thumbs up and smiled.

You did a fantastic job restoring and converting it. Really high quality workmanship. Outstanding. It looks wonderful.

The fact that Daiso stores have the Japanese space magic Konishi-bond glue in stock again that glues otherwise ungluable materials like PE and PP:

This stuff is amazing, you can glue things where any other type of glue just falls off again once it's dried.

You’ve mentioned this stuff before so thanks for the photo. Duly recorded and hoping Wellington Daiso has some.

Just in case this wasn't a joke I wouldn't park quite so deep in the space. Sooner or later a car will pull into what looks like a free park.

I have been jolted out of sleep in the middle of the night by various notifications on the iPad and in parallel on the iPhone (here). They were (accidentally not switched off) notifications from geekzone AND ... a price monitoring system that I had completely forgotten about in the meantime. In a daze, I checked because of the noise and found ... a super Blackweek offer for an Intel NUC Atlas Canyon with N5105 for 99€ - who sends something like that at 2:00am on a Saturday night? Well, in any case, in the middle of next week, 3 units will be delivered free of charge to the branch 250m away. It could hardly be more convenient. Going back to sleep now. 😆

That's awesome, got anymore photos of it, including the build?  Have you made a blog page for its conversion?

Musically, I stick to Pavlov's dog

or when more metal (or head bang) is needed... 😄

Don't tempt me, or I will put together a playlist of songs about dogs, from "Me & You & a Dog Named Boo" through to "Dogs Are The Best People", including the sad ones like "Jessie" by Paw.

Pavlov's dog is not a song about dogs - it's the name of a band. And my dog „Skipper“ loves them too. 😉

it was a joke. One of my work colleagues suggested I park it there, take a photo and post it on our work intranet. It was quickly returned to the bike parking area after the photo.

Why don't you put that thing in the boss's car park - that would be a real joke! 😉

My boss' name is Ev. I've told her that she should park in the "EV ONLY" parking!
