I just got a spam message on my Playstation. Do you think I could figure out how to delete the thing? After Googling it, it turns out that "Delete" is too plain for Sony and they had to call the option "Leave".
Android Messenger doesn't alert when new SMSs arrive if the app is already open.
Android missing notifications because its extra zealous power management closes background apps - even Instant Messages and other that you want open. Android ignoring the option (which has to be set app by app) to not "power optmise the app". Android not having an option to simply not do this to any app.
Android.

I'm not explaining... I am saying that power management in Android is one small thing that annoys me.

I have to say that working in IT, my levels of despair esp at the likes of MS, who reinvent things and make them much much worse (more clicks, less useful) is staggering. I see it's pervading many other products and companies. I am starting to wonder if it's related to "agile" development methods.
I personally think there is a real lack of accountability among corporate software providers because most large organisations that I've worked in seem to have a disconnect between the people procuring the software versus the people actually using the software. The IT department don't understand the daily frustrations of end users, and end users don't report problems because they try to avoid dealing with the 'difficult' IT department.
I would love for an IT support person to sit with me for half a day so that they can see from my point of view why things aren't working the way they should.
Companies that have a token online presence!
3 days after placing the order - still no change in status from "Card Validated".
Took a week last time from the same Company before anything happened... thought they may have gotten better - but they haven't.
Offering $5 delivery for orders is meaningless if it takes so long to be sent! (Without any faster option offered!)
Maybe that is why it is $5!
(I'm looking at you Briscoes!)
Yes - I am impatient!

And when they get annihilated by amazon they will cry that it is unfair.
The last (only) thing I bought from Briscoes online arrived with a price sticker on it. I think they'd just pulled it right off the shop floor.

They do, along with the warehouse. When I am shopping online I dont want things that have been on display in a retail floor. They should come straight from a picking warehouse and never see the publics grubby hands unless it is something sold as a refurb or similar.
When one website recommends another website. Looks good and you duly provide the requisite details to register on said website and it then tells you that you can’t. ![]()

On a serious note @freitasm, @sbiddle . Is this something at your end or my end. Tried with both Chrome(with Adblocker) and IE, but I am behind a corporate firewall.
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
