Not sure why you say that because, no, I have absolutely no idea where that is. Wouldn’t have asked otherwise.

I've seen Mike use the name a few times but have never looked it up until now. It appears that it's the Maori name for Wellington Harbour. I'd always assumed it was a little village somewhere! [Edit: Or a suburb]

I'm not a frequent traveller, nor an aviation expert, but that seems an odd place for an airport lounge.

OK, Te Whanganui-a-Tara refers to the harbour and the area in general.

Which is just like all the other revamps to the Lounges. I am not a fan finding then cold, souless and lacking any charm. More like an open plan office than anything else.

@cshwone They are still like a hotel smorgasbord dining room and lounge but they are an improvement to what was previously there. Personally the least time I spend at an airport or a plane the better.

You know @MikeB4 - whenever you have used that place name, I have assumed (obviously incorrectly) that you were referring to Lower Hutt.
I knew it was the Wellington region, but thought it was specific to The Hutt.

Today I learned. I know I could have googled it, but I didn't.

How good would a modern MGB GT be (rhetorical question - we know it would be awesome)? Man I'd love to see that. If they kind of stuck to the original brief (but modern/electric).

The solid roof 1965-'74 MG MGB/GT remains a solid buy | Hemmings
