Joker 9.5/10

Extraordinary. Masterclass performance from Joaquin Phoenix, fully deserved the Oscar.

If you've seen Batman movies and discounted this as just another one - don't.

I just don't get the love for this movie.

I didn't go into it expecting a Batman movie at all, but the hype was off the charts and I was frankly disappointed.

I found it slow and hard to enjoy.

Yeah, I feel mostly the same as you. I thought it was "OK". For me amazing acting mostly only benefits a movie with a decent or interesting plot. For me it wasn't that.

+1. One of my three favourite movies of last year, along with Once upon a time in Hollywood and Ad Astra.

So we could never go to the movies together!

I disliked all three of those movies.

Terminator something. 6/10. I enjoyed the middle part where all the main characters meet, good story. The rest of it, chase movie with slips. Neon.

Ford Vs Ferrari - 8.5/10 on Neon - very good, though I think Mat Damon's character could of been played a bit tougher.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Terminator "something"?

I think you need to be more specific - which out of six? Sure, we could average all of them to 5/10 😂

If it's the latest one, I think it has one of the best lines Arnie has ever uttered...

Terminator: Dark Fate. I enjoyed the original and was hoping for more of an update. The story update was good. It's a good setup for a tv series.

"I won't be back" 🤣

I'm going to watch it tonight 4k Apple TV. Just be watching for action, effects. Think it's had bad reviews but people have told me they enjoyed it.

Tenet.

Has some good bits but as usual too long. 7/10 prolly would have been 8 if they slashed half an hour.

Bill & Ted Face the Music.  It's like watching a warm hug for 90 mins.

I don't know how to take that. :D

The chick playing Ted's daughter was so..... non-binary. (Which she is in real life apparently)
