vinnieg: Business suits at work, jeans/t-shirt, or normal casual clothing at home = Android, or Windows Mobile
Plaid, bright coloured suits, turtlenecks, jeans too tight = iPhone

Uh oh, I wear a T-shirt and not-tight jeans but have an iPhone. I hope I don't cause some sort of space-time continuum rupture...

tonyhughes: One day you will end up having to use multiples of 1 or 3, and cursing the day you turned down the offer to buy a spare 9 button.

Soo... after carefully considering this post and your original one; it's an iphone for you...
(because they have apps that'll do the 1's, and 3's math for you, and delete the 9)

I think this is the most Off Topic I have ever seen in Off Topic.

I prefer to cook an iPhone with some blackberry's in the microwave for 99 seconds, remove and stir then another 99 seconds

Sent from my Windows Microwave v9 running Android Appleberry Sauce

Huh, Is it Friday yet

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Yeah, these remind me of critically acclaimed movies that nobody goes to see. The reviews have raved, or at least been generally positive, about Nokia + WinPho but very few people people actually want to buy the things. Waiting for Windows 8?

I'd have a look at a Nokia + Android phone. Mind you I think Nokia is still yet to wake up to the brave new world they now inhabit. I'm not into bright colours or the current design language. Just because it has Nokia on it isn't what it once was.

OP, if you can afford buy a new iPhone, if you can't buy and iPhone 4. If your asking, Android isn't for you.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?

Emailed to me by someone...apologies to whoever wrote it originally  Smile

Apple has done it again!! It has introduced another revolutionary product that will be industry-leading the day it comes out. I am very happy with all the upgrades and improvements of the iPhone 5 over the 4S.

* The iPhone 5 includes a revolutionary A6 processor. Dual-core. Simply incredible. Now you'll be able to open up and navigate to Settings to disable 4G/Data even faster than ever. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has dual-core, a direct blatant copy of Apple. Get a life, Samsung!

* iPhone 5 has free voice navigation. Android has had this for quite some time, a blatant copy of iPhone 5's features. Android is such a bad copy of Apple.

* The iPhone 5 has 4G LTE connectivity. Simply ingenious!! All Android phones now have 4G LTE, a blatant copy of Apple. Android and Google need to stop copying Apple and develop their own ideas.

* The iPhone 5 has the revolutionary Panorama camera feature. The Samsung Galaxy S3 also does this, a blatant copy of Apple. This will make taking pictures a snap. The ability to save near-infinite photos on 16GB (no microsd slot) will be amazing. Thank you, Apple!

* The iPhone 5 comes with a revolutionary new connector - Lightning! It's another sure-fire way for Apple and product-manufacturers to get more money from selling new products that support Lightning. Lightning is the name of the main character of Final Fantasy XIII, a blatant copy of iPhone 5's connector. Square Enix, get a life! Apple should also sue God for patent-infringement - Apple created Lightning.

* The iPhone 5 has a revolutionary 4" screen, but the phone is still the same width as the 4S. Simply breathtaking to look at. The LG G2X also has a 4" screen, a blatant copy of Apple. Get a life, LG. Stop copying Apple!!

* The iPhone 5 has 640x1136 resolution, slightly less than Samsung's Galaxy S3 1280x720, but Apple is still better because, let's face it - they're Apple.

These reasons and more, my friends, are the reasons why Apple is #1 and is the reason why the iPhone 5 will sell in record quantities. Long live Apple!! In the name of Steve Jobs, Amen

Wait... Now I'm confused. Isn't the iPhone 5 the 5th generation? Isn't Econet testing a 5th Generation network now?

I think if you're an educated user, and you use Googles services for your work or personal life then a Nexus is your answer since it's built for Google, I also think Android multi-tasking is easier to use and their UI gets out of the way a little more.  Android UI designer Matias Duarte (ex Danger, Palm WebOS) has an excellent job in creating a digital native UI for Android that uses great visual ques to help you use the phone.  App store isn't important to me for mobiles as they are my email/call/text/browse device, not my do it all.

Apple is great for an easy choice, trade off being a far smaller size (even at 4")  their ecosystem is strong and its a safe choice for a buyer, but I feel as though the products are a little sterile, I suppose for me it's hard to get excited about a UI that stays exactly the same from version to version, and hardware that although is built well, doesn't seem to be bringing anything new except smaller and thinner.

A large screen size for me is vital even though I have mid sized hands, I'm still easily able to use my 4.65" Gnex to do all the things I need it too,  my pinky has always been the 'base support' for my phone leaving my thumb to stretch about.

Tablets though, iPad is almost the only answer, the iPad is a large part of my workflow at my studio, its range of professional apps help me make money and I wouldn't consider another tablet for work.  The Nexus 7 looks great for a bit of fun though!

The phone I'm most looking forward to having a play with, is by far the Lumia 920, although if Google does bring anything new to the table in October with the new Nexus, I'll be very interested

haha , aww il let you off then ;-) .

I seriously see it like this.

They both make great products.
If you like it, then buy it.

It all comes down to personal preference at the end of the day.
