Seems like it might be easier to replace all your power adapters with generics that fit regular power plugs?

Or, you could get one of these: http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pivot-power-outlet when there is an NZ version available. The website has many other options for odd shapes or alignments.

like the drawing, looks like 4 surprised people.

A while ago, i saw a power adaptor with rotating sockets, can't remember where, but a bit like this (but with nz plugs)...

I guess something like that would meet your needs as you can rotate the plugs to 'portrait' mode :)

Sorry, can't remember where i saw these though but it might give you an extra solution
