I just got a new set for my motorbike, they are $800 now! but I found someone selling a gift voucher on TradeMe for $700 so saved a little bit . . .

Best plate I've seen is a tradesman: I YR IT

edit: I also have DEB1AN hanging on the wall in the garage, haven't gotten them re-made since buying the new car. They wouldn't suit it at present (euro).

I don't think that's quite right, see the reply from marmel who gives the official view from the NZ Police on overseas plates.

Back on topic, I own 3BIT and NATEZ.  Paid $300 for one many years ago, paid $700 for the business one two years ago - that hurt.
