I met Richard Hadlee when I was around 10 and swore I would never wash my right hand again. The Bushwackers visited our primary school in the late 80s (One of them was an uncle to one of my classmates). Can't believe they're 68 & 70 years old now!

Met Gordon Jackson (from The Professionals) when he was in NZ doing some meat ads and narrating some show in the 80's. That was awesome and I'm still a huge fan of The Professionals.
Met PM Muldoon and a crap load of other MPs on numerous occasions (when I was kid).
Richard Branson followed me on twitter for about 30 minutes when he first got on it.
I think he stopped when I tweeted "holy f*&k, @richardbranson is following me" (with the word actually written properly).

I met Jon Pertwee in a nightclub in Wellington (Spats) when he was out here filming for Worzel Gummidge. Even got his autograph on the back of a coaster but have long since lost it unfortunately. Others...

Politicians - too many to name (including serving prime ministers).

Musicians:
- Lemmy Kilmister
- Ricky Martin
- Didn't meet them but watched UB40 from backstage in Apia a few years back
- Dave Dobbyn (and the rest of the band back in the DD Smash days)
- Shona Laing
- Jon Toogood

Sports Stars:
- Sean Fitzpatrick
- Keven Mealamu
- Tana Umaga
- Jonah Lomu
- Loads of the Hurricanes in fact as I used to work where they used to train

Others:
- Mauricio Freitas
- Prince Charles
- Dame Silvia Cartwright
- Sir Jerry Mateparae
- Sam Hunt
- Jermaine Clement
- Mick Keelty
- Colin Powell

Mostly, but not exclusively, people world famous in NZ.

I touched Taylor Swifts hair once.

Edit: and Jenna Coleman's hair.

Was pretty crazy I must admit , I won the chance to have lunch and spend the afternoon with her through whitcoulls of all places through a second chance lucky dip ticket (where you put it in a container because you did not win anything).

She was accompanied by a bodyguard who stayed away 99% of the time. Had a fantastic lunch with her and talked about all sorts of things, despite her portrayal in married with children she is a very clever person.

I asked a lot about Katey Sagal as I always thought she was hot (not to say that Christina was not).

I walked her around town and she did some shopping and quite surprisingly not that many people recognized her, she bought me a pair of shoes go figure on that one.

We had coffee at a cafe later in the afternoon then she headed off to her holiday home that she frequents over here.

Yeah was pretty trippy but she was a very warm and friendly person.

I was friends with Kimbra before but we kinda grew apart.

Now she's just somebody that I used to know.

Have got various autographs from sporting events (mostly cricket and tennis) and other events like Armageddon etc. As for famous people I've actually known, current black cap Mitchell McClenaghan was in my year at school, from Primary all the way through to the end of High School.

I used to work on the Lynx fast ferry about 10 years ago. Behind a sturdy door with a sign saying "Crew Only" was a flight of stairs that led to the crew smoking area behind the bridge which was out of sight from passengers.

I was up there one day looking out at the view on my break when there was a tap on my shoulder and this voice said "You got a spare smoke cuz?" I turned around and standing there was Temuera Morrison. He explained cheekily that he assumed the "Crew Only" sign was only for normal people....

He was a hellova nice guy and I spoke to him for about 40 minutes on all sorts of topics. He did scab quite a few of my cigarettes but I didn't mind because the conversation was so interesting.

I also had Robert Wagner travelling onboard in the club lounge shortly after Austin Powers had come out. I thought it was a huge joke to go up to him and say "Good afternoon Mr Wagner, I'll be your number 2 this afternoon, just let me know if you need anything". Like he hadn't heard that one before....
