Presso: Did anybody else have one of these calculators , was a match the numbers game, my best friend at the time had the boxing one that came out at the same time. This used to go everywhere with me and I had it until last year where it sadly got destroyed.

Yes! Completely forgot. Just dragged it out of the cupboard. Boxing one still goes, matching one seems dead. Seems I will be busy tonight... Sweet

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Women's breasts. Had a period of ambivalence from about 2YO to about 7, then a couple of years of aversion, but since then, definitely one of my favourite things.

8 bit computers with cassette tape stored programmes that took 5+ minutes to load (at 300 baud) if they loaded at all.

Childhood memories

Taking the car on the train overnight to the South of France and nearly drowning in the hotel pool near St Tropez (props to Dad for saving me!)
Taking the car on the hovercraft to France - I always wanted to sit by the window on the HC but remember you can't see anything due to the spray!
Being dragged to Saturday cricket games by my Dad and playing with the other kids (who we only ever saw at those matches!). We only knew the venues by way of the pubs that the team went to afterwards - kids were not allowed in pubs in those days (wish that was still true!) so we all got left in the beer garden to make mischief, with Dad coming out once or twice to give us a Coke and a packet of crisps!
Packing my trunk every term for boarding school and finally escaping the parents and seeing all my friends again
Getting a right roasting for using my father's prized 17th century Purbeck stone sundial as a target for my air rifle...
Mum taking us out to somewhere that seemed far away (but usually was only 10 miles or so) for ice cream and playing on the slides etc on the village green
Dad snoring in his recliner on Xmas Day afternoon, stuffed full of turkey and still wearing a paper hat. Miss that one now he's gone.

I could go on. My wife persistently accuses me of relating everything to the past!

Castle Wolfenstein on the Apple II
Shooting up targets in the park with a mates air rifle (probably an armed offenders call out now)
The Goodies on TV (first run, not repeats)
the Professionals on TV (again, first run not repeats, and I was probably waaay to young to watch)
Sky rockets, bangers and catherine wheels on Guy Fawkes
the relative absence of Nanny State and freedom to be a kid, take risks, and learn my boundaries - tenting with friends, cooking over open fires, riding my cycle without a helmet, playing bullrush, disappearing for an afternoon with friends without CYFs and the Police starting a manhunt for the missing children

My Commodore 64 (got sold in the 1990s so had to get another one a few years ago, now it's on steroids!)
My bike and going for bike rides into the country (no adult supervision required)
Saturday morning TV (Tiswas, The Monkees (reruns I think)...)
After school TV (Doctor Who, Blue Peter, Chokey ...)
Evening TV with the family (The Bill, The Incredible Hulk, ...)

Wish I could go back :-)

Honestly, I'd still laugh.
