Namesake. I thought it ironic that I arrived at the Geekzone event this evening with a walking stick, given my avatar is in a wheelchair, given I have never needed a wheelchair - hurt my foot a few weeks ago. Think I'll have my name changed though.

Chevrolux is my handle on off Offroad Express 4x4 Forums - first forum I properly signed up for.

Had a Toyota Hilux with a Chevy 350 engine, hence, Chevrolux.

Mine on this forum comes from what I have done for a liveing mostly for the last 5 years - many know me as Tely in RL or Tely_NZ on other forums

I changed my avatar, to the current one, after someone at the company, that the company that I work for contacts to, objected to my avatar being a representation of the logoed van that I drive and I couldn't think of anything else to use at the time.

From memory, I made it up whilst thinking about Ned Flanders....

I just mashed the keyboard a few times and this came out. I create most of my usernames this way - the majority are not even pronounceable.

I'm a bit of a geek and this site is for geeks hence the name geek4me. As for the Avatar - I'm on a secret mission for the SIS.

I am retired, old and lazy so Idle seemed right for me. The avatar was a photo I took of an old guy on a zimmer frame, coming out of the ocean, complete with goggles and breathing tube, in Rarotonga!

A friend of mine had a much cooler handle than I used to have. This motivated me to try and do better and to be honest I just came up with it one morning.

I later realized the GM Motors reference in the initials so it's always proven good for getting logos to use as avatars. I've also taken to using a name with the initials GM as a pen name.

was trying to come up with a bios password and was listening to Metallica through the never at the time (I was a teenager, I no longer listen to metallica :)) and just spelt never backwards to get "reven".   A little while later I stopped using it as a password and started using it as a name.

my nickname IRL is "putty"/"putters" (@putters is my twitter name, but I stopped using twitter pretty much), which my brother gave to me from seinfeld (not realizing its actually "David Puddy" from the show) as I can stare into space and keep myself occupied without saying a word.

I have this one because Geekzone doesn't do underscores ie: kiwi_rock.

I chose this username as my first username back in 1997 I think it was, on dial-up with Xtra. I

I used to have a lot to do with broadcast radio and the first double CD I think I bought was Kiwi Rock Volume 1.

I just haven't been bothered to come up with something else since.

Cheers.
