Just counted - have about 280 banned TM users based on not completed purchase or negative feedback.

I always pay attention to feedback (and am scrupulous about posting it) but I don't get bothered if someone who has been in business for years and has done thousands of trades has a dozen or so negative feedbacks. I will read them carefully but if they are very old, or the reasons don't seem justified, I don't let it stop me from doing business with someone.

Should I post bad Trade Me feedback and feel the burn?

Yes. I don't see why the innocent party should get so upset about one bad feedback from a bad trader.

This is how it works: Bad feedback builds up for the bad traders. It does not build up for the good traders.

Bonus: Every now and then TradeMe kills a bad trader and the bad bully feedback disappears.
