Seriously plugged rugby as ALL sport though didn't they?

Well it is, isn't it? At least in NZ? Do we as a country compete in other sports? :)

Sceptic. Along with 5% of others.

"Sceptics... tend not to express the same sense of belonging to their country and community, and are often unsatisfied with the conditions of both."

Clearly this test is exceedingly accurate for some at least!

Being unsatisfied leads to change, being satisfied leads to...sheep! cool

"Sceptics are unique in that they tend not to identify with typical Kiwi stereotypes. Iconic aspects of Kiwi culture such as lifestyle and sport tend not to have the same resonance with Sceptics as they do with other New Zealanders.

Sceptics exhibit lower levels of national pride than do most other New Zealanders. They tend not to express the same sense of belonging to their country and community, and are often unsatisfied with the conditions of both. They tend to be cynical about the usefulness of government and the least likely among Kiwis to take an active interest in politics or civic life.

Sceptics value perseverance and hard work, but are still doubtful about whether their efforts will vastly improve their lives. They often feel that, despite their efforts, they are not able to get ahead.

Sceptics are typically unsympathetic to arguments that minority groups in New Zealand are discriminated against and do not usually support the Treaty claims process. They feel that many New Zealanders have faced difficult circumstances and that no single group should be given special treatment. Sceptics take moderate positions on immigration and multiculturalism, perhaps owing to the fact that a relatively high proportion of Sceptics are themselves immigrants."

Another Patriot here. I'm pretty patriotic, and proud to be a kiwi most of the time (until a whole lot of drunk Kiwis do a Haka somewhere - that gets embarrassing).

It is a truism of world travel that somewhere in the world, at any given moment, some drunk Kiwis are doing a haka.

I came out as an egalitarian. Guess I don't eat enough meat to fall in the patriot camp.

What do the young think? - That this survey is a waste of time I suppose :P

It will make for a good TV programme, again. undecided

The most accurate result for me is that the segments best fitting me (Loyalist, Egalitarian) are 70% outside Auckland.

Correcting my earlier post: Loyalists are 17%

KrazyKid: I note that the average age of all the groups is between 38 & 50 - most in the high 40's

What do the young think?

Probably that there are too many questions, and their attention waned before they finished it.

No surprises for me. Globalist at my heart. Wouldn't mind all borders just going away.

They are mostly still wondering what the long words mean and if there is an app....

couldn't be further from the truth.

Anything to do with the Union Jack and Queen I was against but said I was a "Traditionalist" and amongst other things

"New Zealand's British heritage features relatively prominently in Traditionalists' conception of national identity, and they are more receptive to the British monarchy and the Commonwealth than are most other New Zealanders."

I don't think so Tim
