Hammerer:

Any unexplained celebrity death attracts claims of drug overdose.

That's true ... ok let's wait for more information ...

Prince had a hip injury. That is a likely cause of the requirement for pain medication. It is said that he avoided the required hip replacement because of religious beliefs. Jehovah's Witnesses have a religious reason to avoid blood transfusion.

Yes - sounds like he needed hip surgery, but wouldn't have it unless "bloodless". Can be done - by a brave surgeon with good lawyers.

News reports now from a claimed "drug dealer to the stars" - that Prince was already a heavy opiate user in 1984.

Trump drinks diet coke but I doubt he takes sedatives ... he doesn't behave that way

That was always the rumour - He was also known to be painfully shy.

If you look on youtube there is one of the first 'interviews'.

He is literally so tongue-tied he pretty much cant speak at all.

He apparently said to one of his crew at the time 'This will never happen again' - and it didnt.

Not uncommon for performers to use 'stuff' to give themselves confidence. Alcohol/drugs is sadly pretty common.

While standing in a queue at a US supermarket last week we glanced at the magazines on the rack at the checkout counter:

"Aids killed prince!" - National Enquirer

"Prince committed suicide!"

"Prince murdered!"

Quality journalism at its finest!

Last interview I saw with him he started warbling on about Chemtrails and the Illuminati.

No not really.

Transfusion risk for an elective hip replacement otherwise we'll man in 50s or younger is very low.

Could be done in any of the main center hospitals in nz.

Much more likely to be good old fashioned narcotics addiction. They made him feel nice so he kept doing them.

In the states when you want a hip replacement they make you read and sign a book of risks that indemnifies the hospital team. Probably scared the carp out of poor old Prince.

edit- ah so the book mainly explains everything from 3 months before to 12 months afterwards, waht to do, how to do, inc things we can't speak of in online forums when kids are around. the consent from itself is only a few pages of it, for example

By transfusion risk, I mean risk that  transfusion is needed; not the risk that something happens from the transfusion.
