RIP Prince. Didn't even know you'd been crook.

Love your work.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Rumours are abound about his illness but I'm sure we'll find out in due course.

RIP you strange little genius.

It's been a bad year for stars fading out and setting.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

We have lost a lot of stars recently that make up the fabric of modern music, and comedy and film.

Wasn't a fan, but acknowledge his immense talent, and impact on the music.

an amazing talent who wrote, produced and in some cases played all the instruments on his albums. Anyone in the current top 40 have that kind of ability?

I'm a fan since the early eighties and Prince was the soundtrack to my teenage years so definitely a loss.

Generally not my thing but sad all the same. Just the day after the lovely Victoria Wood, too.

Seems to be something in the water this year.

A massively under-rated guitar hero too.

He's also been known to do the sound mix from the stage himself too... no idea how that would work.

Not to be macabre... But Prince's death probably has every movie studio in the USA scrambling to grab movie rights. His death is that big.

I think this is a fake/troll.

I've seen zero media coverage of this.

I think THIS is a troll, open a news site, ANY news site, or turn on the radio, or speak to another human being. No shortage of talk about it :)

RIP

There are multiple reports that Eric Clapton was once asked what it was like to be the greatest guitar player alive, and he responded, "I don't know. Ask Prince."

I know its being reported in lots of places, but I always thought that question was asked of Jimi Hendrix and he responded BB King...

No sources though...

17 years - I'm still partying like it's 1999, driving along in my little red corvette and singing so badly that I make Doves Cry.
