This is a teaser for a series I'm aiming to put together, Ideally live action, most likely will stay as CG animation.

Set in Auckland in an alternate 1989, the cold war turns hot in the south pacific. And yeah 2004 era cut-scene graphics - I'm not a professional 3D animator :P

Love any feedback

Lew

Just had a quick look, looks great. Clearly a lot of effort and thought has gone into this. I thought David Lange was spot on (ie very kiwi) given the context. The scenes have a very cinematic feel, you must like movies.

Anyway, I have subscribed and will sit down at a future point with a cold one to watch.

This is *awesome*. Lt Col Brewer is already my favourite.

What is the plan for this? TV/web series? Movie? If you put this on Kickstarter, I would be all over it.

Wow thanks for the words of support man! At the moment I'm trying to build up the promotional material for a potential pledgeme or kickstarter style thing in the future. Also seeing about pitching it through more traditional channels as well here in NZ. Lots more material to come :D

The next teaser I'm doing is actually a snippet from the script set entirely on a P-3 mission over the gulf where they drop a torp on a foxtrot class soviet sub they spot, can I send you the script of it? You might be able to tell me if I'm way off technically or in my proceedure of the crew characters?

Cheers :D

Hi everyone,

So sorry, it's really been awhile, I've been busy working away on some more videos, I'm doing 3 promo videos, each from a different nations perspective. The first is New Zealand, the second is Australia and the third that I'm working on at the moment will be the United States.

Hope you like them!

i see cash will be used to buy a rendering computer. Do you think it's practical to use a platform like BOINC to farm out rendering?

I'd happily donate cycles to the job.
