My Phone has suddenly got lines all over the screen spent months saving up for it as a student.
It will be replacing my non existant Samsung Grand Prime that went missing a while ago leaving me with only my work phone to survive. It will be good to have a second phone and escape work again.
Looks a great phone to replace my wife's J5.
Thanks, MF.
Replacing Motorola Droid Maxx. Fantastic phone. Battery lasted well as a second hand phone out of the US - but sadly has seen its day - and its huge battery now lasting only a few hours :(.
Love my Nexus 5X but it's starting to look a bit long in the tooth. This looks a pretty good candidate as a replacement.
Now this is a story all about how my phone slowed me right right down. I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, I'll tell you how it is the worst phone of this year.
Okay being serious now, I got this phone in the Boxing Day sales of 2015 at The Warehouse. It was $30, and my first smartphone, as previously I had been just fine with a landline and a PC to do everything that a phone can. I was walking through the aisles, after grabbing some heavily discounted chocolate, and noticed this one phone sitting there. I checked the price and it was only 30 bucks! I was amazed. Immediately bought it and took it home to set up.
I've been happily using it for calls, and a few time waster games for when I get bored, up until about September. I thought to myself that I could watch YouTube and stuff on the go. But how wrong I was. A 20 minute video consumes most of it's whopping 1780 mah battery. I thought fine, I'm used to not doing that anyway, but decided maybe some games would be better suited for it. Nope. It's 8GB storage (over half is used by the OS alone) only had room for 2. 2! Don't get me started on the camera, which doesn't focus.
My phone is the Vodafone Smart Speed 6 (identical to some Alcatel phone), and belongs in the trash, hence the following image.

Will be used to replace an ageing Samsung Galaxy S5... that is now "third hand". Got it from a friend who got it from a friend etc ;)
It is a decent phone, bu sadly the battery life is terrible, the WiFi drops out intermittently, it doesn't handle a lot of newer apps well and it randomly restarts itself... not to mention that fact that it seems to randomly "lose" the ringtones, so my alarm doesn't always work... not great when you need to crawl out of bed at 0545 hrs for a 12 hrs shift! ![]()

I would want it to replace my iphone 5s which is now so unreliable and laggy, I have to keep it plugged into a battery pack to stop it crashing when under 40% battery. Haven't used android properly since my old S3, so will be interesting to see how much android has improved since Jelly bean.
