I just don't understand what they do with stuff in NZ.

I ordered something from the US. It took 4 days to get to NZ then...

Sunday, 2 July, 1708 = Package has left the carrier facility, Auckland NZ

Thursday 26 July = 1505 Package has left the carrier facility New Zealand

1710 Package has left the carrier facility, Auckland NZ

So so far, in the same time it took to travel across the USA and to NZ, it has gone from one place in Auckland to another place in Auckland....

Geektastic:

boo hoo. Self employed business owner finds it hard going.

But they aren't self employed as in owning their own business.

Just treated that way as far as costs are concerned.

They have to replace the van all the time, they have to pay for everything themselves, they have no say in leave, sick leave, routes, deliveries per day etc.

Ok they could take leave, not deliver etc but then it costs them, heaps.

As I understand it many of them are self employed - I presume on some sort of franchise system.
