Daynger:

Email Fairgo, they will love an easily researchable common problem that Samsung are stiffing people for.

The bad advertising they get from the show if they run the story will scare them into action as soon as FG email them asking about it.

Yeah, FG emailed but given the amount of emails they get - I'm not too optimistic that they'll reply.

Just an update on this.

I had previously spoken to Samsung many times, escalating to team leaders/product managers and the hard answers is that the shelves would not be replaced.

So I thought since I had purchased the item from Harvey Norman in Mt Wellington, I would flick them a message.

Rav from Harvey Norman Mt Wellington was very helpful - got me to send him the photos, he spoke to Samsung and apparently a few new shelves are now being couriered out to me.

What I find really weird about issues like this, is it's clearly a CGA issue. Samsung are usually really good with CGA claims but then sometimes they will dig their toes in over the stupidest things and be difficult. They can't win if the end user persists, but they just seem to randomly pick issues as the hill they want to die on.

Is this supposed to be "now" or are they still being argumentative?

Shelves weren't even expensive.... and didn't even need contractors to come.

Literally a $250 retail price issue.
