Arcoroc or Luminarc. Wait till Briscoes puts them on sale. Both are tempered glass and very light. They last for years and great for every day use. Keep a nice china dinnerset for guests and use the glass daily. Kids will have a hard time chipping them as they are easier for them to manoeuvre because not heavy. I gave a set away except for one side plate which I’ve had for 30 years and it’s still going.

There are outdoor companies that produce titanium plates for lightweight camping if you want something vaguely techy.

I feel the proper GZ solution is to buy a CNC machine and mill your own from block stainless steel or titanium.

Then laser etch them and sell them via the For Sale forum here. 👍🏻

I'm a little sick of apologizing to guests for the state of our plates and cups.

 

 

I use paper plates and wooden utensils. All in an effort to prop up the pine industry, and avoid doing dishes.   

 

I even take my own cardboard container to the sushi shop in town so i dont use their plastic takeaway containers.   

 

If you come to my house you can expect the crockery of a childrens picnic party in the park. I make no apologies :-)
