Supercards is the replacement I opted for and I am very happy with it.

It has all the NZ Loyalty cards I was looking for, including the correct logos. It's super quick.

The change over took 5 minutes.

Thought I'd try that, so I did an export of all the .png because screen shotting one by one seemed a bit naff and supercards gallery picker is the most basic I've ever seen so it can't navigate to my folder of images lol

I had the advantage of another phone to photograph the barcodes on the old app, so it was super quick for me.

Oh nvm most of my images are front images and the barcodes are in csv format with association with image files. Will stick with catima unless I want to start from scratch.

What's the benefit of a third party app for storing loyalty cards compared to Google or Apple Wallet which have both had this functionality for awhile now, independent storage/backup?

I would rather hit a shortcut on my Apple Watch for it to bring up loyalty cards than have these loyalty cards filling up my wallet which has payment cards.

There is also Barcodes which works well as a replacement. Can add cards to Apple Wallet which I didn't realise until know you could add locations to so, for example, when you are at your local Woolworths that card pops up on screen, no searching.

how do you add say a library card to Apple Wallet?  that's probably the main benefit.  I saw some instructions about hit the + and scan a card.  But that wasnt an option for me.

I was forced to update last week to Klarna at the most 'convenient' time as I went to scan from stocard to get the Pak n Sav card for the hand scanner.

I personally dont like the Klarna app as it takes a while to load up etc... 3 screen tabs to navigate ... Does not open the card view as a default...

Today migrated the cards over to Supercards using screenshots.  Took a while but a better app that works well for me.

yeha me too.  I do prefer the “no account option”.  Took a couple of minutes to scan the cards to transfer them across.

still waiting for my “export” from stocard.

+1 for Barcodes - it’s brilliant, and the location-based Apple Wallet support works perfectly and doesn’t require app location permissions.

Supercards didn’t work well for me.  Yes it was easy to screenshot and import, but it would not add cards it didn’t recognise, like my Wellington library card and quite a few others that I stored in Stocard. There wasn’t an option.

i rejected Klarna as didn’t want to sign up and add my mobile number.

Any new suggestions for an App on IOS that will also save cards not recognised or in their list? Ability to open without data also a plus.

Barcodes didn’t work at all. I tried to add the screenshot. It would accept only three and imported they came up with just the barcode and number, no distinguishing feature or shop colours.
