I love Yachting, which I do with the local Venturer group (Venturers = Scouts + A few years - Leaders + Doing whatever we want). I'm a group rep on the zone Venturer Council and am going to the Scout Jamboree in Hamilton in a week. I regularly get out on the water for a sail and I have a serious interest in buying a boat when I'm older. Enjoy the outdoors, and photography.

And that's me!

I play guitar and record on my PC at home (used to be in a band, Taitned).

Always reading about science (especially astronomy), new discoveries, and debunking of pseudoscience, paranormal etc

Also amateur photography. I don't have a decent camera, just a pseudo SLR.

LookingUp: Astrophotography, but that probably counts as "playing around with tech stuff" ;-)

Loving your work bro!

My very metal Doctor Who theme

Kaos36 have you been hanging out with my Dad? Because if you have, he loves reading all about WWII U-boats etc. His interest in U-boats has had an influence on me as well.

The reason he has pursued an interest was probably because his Father (my Granddad) was torpedoed by a type-9 U-boat in WWII on his merchant ship. In fact he was on 3 different merchant ships over the course of the war, all of them were sunk. Two by U-boats, one of which he was captured and taken prisoner on and the other was dived bombed by a Luftwaffe Focke Wulf 190. Since then I have taken a huge interest in my Grandfathers involvement during the war :)

Good luck with your ultimate dream mate ;)
