What would you suggest then itxtme?

If the neighborhood child came over your fence repeatedly would you shoot him with a bbgun?  Ring the SPCA and ask them for advice on your rights etc.  This would be a good time to bring up your well though out bbgun plan and see what kind of reception they give you!

PS I dont even like cats, but I certainly wouldnt shoot one with a gun.

What if you hit it in the eye?

One of our cats when I was living at my folks was shot in the eye by some %&#@wit with a BB gun. Poor thing lost sight in that eye, thanfully didnt lose the eye altogether.

If I ever catch anyone shooting a cat with a BB gun, I'll quite happily do the same to them.

I see your point there itxtme - I'm sure that if a child was doing that (peeing on my doorstep that is) I would be able to locate him and his parents to deal with the situation but this is an animal we're talking about so your point is irrelevant.

So far the best idea/ideas I think would be to make some sort of concoction of some such to make the feline not persist on weeing on my door... Other then that, a loud bang maybe?

Chances are remote but I do see your point there bazz & Gavin, don't worry I'm reconsidering my tactics and am not planning to line up the little s*#t (the cat I mean) ;) with my BB gun (very tempting though I must say..)

I think previous ideas posted will prove quite well! - I hope...

Buy a dog.

Just kidding!

Catch it, dunk it under a running tap and make sure its soaked.
Them biff it out side and chase it away.
I've never had a cat I've done that too come back.

He's a hard sucker to catch, I've tried numerous times before but I've managed to purchase some repellent from the local pet shop so hopefully it will put a stop to this facetious feline...

Oh by the way, I rang the pound and they only deal with dogs. I also rang the council and surprisingly they only have dog specialist that deal with dilemmas, nothing for cats!

I'll post back after a week with the results on the spray (and walk away!)

Have you considered getting some Lion poo and putting it there instead? Tomcat may not like bigger cats ;)

That sounds like a great idea rscole86, are you volunteering to go jump the lion fence at Orana Park and get some for us? ;)

Why stop at poo?  Why not get the whole lion and tie it up at your place. That will keep the cats away!!

Did not get time yesterday at work to get the cap gun, and am fast running out of time today to get one. Will try the warehouse tonight and see how I go at finding one.
