Do yellow pages still have a free pickup service for the old books?

Maybe they should stop delivering them, and people who do still want them should have to go to the post office to pick them up. But it is probably is some old outdated legislation that they have to keep delivering them.

They want to have high circulation numbers to justify the costs. If they stop printing and giving them away then they cant say they have millions of readers of them.

Printing and distributing cant cost them that much, hell they could probably use a courier to deliver them and still make money since its 1000's to get something tiny in that book.

As for Yellow, I'm not sure I'd like to be a sales rep for them either, seems to be a rapidly shrinking market.

I work for a health board, and our last invoice for getting our entry in the white pages was $47,000.

They could probably bloody helicopter drop them and still make a profit.

Ironically I had a bit of an app cleanup on my phone and localist was one that got deleted, of the few times I used the app it failed to impress, I think google does as good or better job
