Is it March already? If you think the stockpile some have will have been used up in two weeks, I think you will be mistaken.
The solution I would like to see, other than a complete private ban, is fireworks celebration (Guy Fawkes, Matariki, whatever) with a week's grace period for weather, then any other time requires a council permit.

A 'flock of sheep' looks to me more precisely.

Print books are rarely full of typing errors, Missing words or whatever. Kindle books usually are.
Since they both originate from word processing documents, I can't really see why.

Editors. Print books usually have editors which catch these problems. Some kindle books have editors, but self-published ones may have skipped that step.

I have a UK printing of a particular book, and it has a handful of typographical errors (random blank lines, the odd missing word). A couple of years later I bought the movie adaptation and it came with a free copy of the book; a US printing this time. Curiosity got the better of me so I took a look at it, and it has the same errors in the same places!

Yes, but some of the errors are so common and basic that a spellchecker would pick them up. Even that does not seem to get done. Amazon should require better quality control.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Equally, the cowardice of supermarkets who don't nicely tell these customers where to go.

I bet, OSH regulations requires supermarket workers to avoid conflict. After all, the customer might go rambo on them.
