People that don't put their foot on the brake before moving the shifter from park or neutral into a gear - especially in a FWD.

Lots of automatic cars have an interlock that prevents you from shifting out of park unless you are pressing the brake pedal.

I'm guessing that someone has crashed into you for you to be annoyed by this particular reason?

People who yank the handbrake so that the ratchet clicks loudly. My driving instructor back in 1987 regarded that as uncouth and trained his pupils to push the button in, lift the brake handle and then release the button resulting in silent operation!
Ever since then the noisy version has annoyed me.

My iPhone 8 prompting me, multiple times, to install an update that according to the change log only has changes for iPhone X.

Yes but when the next update comes along that does have updates for your phone, if you update then, you’re going to get the current update anyway. You can’t win with Apple.

As noted in another thread, Android’s Archilles Heel is OS fragmentation. With Apple, everyone is in the same boat, like it or not.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Agreed. My Discovery has one and it's great - you do not even need to take the brake off, you just drive away! Also, props to the inventor of automatic hill hold!

Argh!

"Investigate how to inform our customers of a new website" does NOT mean "bulk email all our customers with the URL of a site that isn't in DNS yet". Fortunately I was able to salvage it before it got too embarrassing!

The concept of 'following' a person, thing etc on the internet.

I can't quite encapsulate just why that annoys me so much. Indeed, it may even be the case that, unless you lived in a time when the only things people followed were the car in front, a religion or the instruction manual, you would never understand just how ridiculous the concept sounds.

Following the herd ... same as likes, etc.

But then again, I have a couple of favourite YouTube channels - does that count as "following" ?

Do recurrent browser bookmarks ?

"Like us on Facebook" is a call that I consider more valid than "Follow us on Facebook"... Why would I follow? To receive your non-targeted, general broadcast, not interesting to me, attempts to sell your crap?

I spoke with Apple CS about the recent revamp of Apple Music/iTunes that persists in inviting me to "share" what I listen to with friends. I pointed out that not all their customers are spotty 20 something Millennial snowflakes and that those who were of a more mature disposition probably would not be eagerly sharing music, so could we have an off-switch for that behaviour please.

"Are you getting this pop-up on an iOS device or in iTunes on a computer? Are you an Apple Music subscriber? If so, this is the intended behavior in Apple Music now. We understand features may not be ideal for everyone."

Sounds much better than "stalking" though.
