miles perhaps?

miles perhaps?
Yeah, nah. No human being has eyesight good enough to spot an animal that size 4.8km away. Stuff messed up.
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
I read this long RNZ article called Super Bowl LX: Everything you need to know but... I didn't see anything that I actually needed to know. (Or was even interested in.)

Stuff Quiz:
You'd think they could at least list ONE OTHER Italian city to at least make it SLIGHTLY challenging...
They got the question wrong. Should have been “Which of these is an Italian city?”
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I loathe the overused "Everything you need to know" heading.

Me too - hate it. So very presumptuous. Thanks but I’ll decide what I need to know.

If it relates to an unfolding emergency that affects me, then there's probably things that "I need to know". If it relates to some manufactured drama or sportsball game, nope, definitely have no interest, let alone any need to know.
Also if it's the emergency situation, I'm unlikely to be getting my information from an advertorial site.
Everything is getting dumbed down due to declining standards and lack of critical judgement. This is just another example of that. Mindless slogans parroted by brain dead droids.

Totally agree.
I am also prone to becoming severely annoyed every time I see a headline that includes the word revealed.
The media are there to inform us.
If someone is making an announcement about something or a press release is available, then please just tell us what the announcement is or what the content of the press release is.
Using the word revealed all the time is hyperbole we really don't need.

In the continuing series of RNZ using the Bay of Plenty as a catch-all, a boat capsizing in the Firth of Thames is tagged Bay of Plenty.

RNZ: "Ukraine reclaims more than 200km of territory"
How do you measure territory in km? Turns out it's 200 square km.
