NZ Herald: The average KiwiSaver balance for your age - NZ Herald

No such information in the article.

Average balances range from $3512 for those under 17 to $194,276 for those aged 86-plus, although the latter is skewed by a smaller number of investors in that age bracket.

The average balance across all members is now $41,286, up 11.3% from 2024. Men’s average is $47,452 and women’s $38,212.

I was expecting a table. Nothing like that.

They must have removed it. I read the article earlier this morning and it had a table.

Two-vehicle crash closes SH1 near Bay of Plenty

Nope RNZ, it's not even close to the Bay of Plenty. It's literally on the shores of Lake Taupo. They seem to have an obsession with anything that happens near Taupo being moved into the Bay of Plenty.

And again.

That stretch of road is in Waikato.

Maybe they have quake bikes in Christchurch.

This story in today’s NZH says we’re all crapping the wrong way. FFS.

Amongst the story’s wonderful advice is a comment that sitting on a loo is unnatural and means that we’re fighting against our puborectalis muscle.

It then says:

“Raising your knees above your waist when sitting on the toilet can help this muscle do its job properly…

This can be helped with a stool to rest your feet on.”

That’s very poor advice  - it's unlikely to provide meaningful support, is extremely smelly and leaves a terrible mess on the floor. Not to mention the horrible job (pardon the pun) of cleaning your footwear after the event. And let’s not imagine bare feet.

You're obviously doing it wrong. The advice to raise your knees doesn’t remove your bum from the existing toilet. In India you can find Western style toilets with extensions either side of the rim for traditionalists to place their feet while squatting. That could be more challenging.

You missed the part about putting your feet on the stool... Think sample, not foot.

Aimed at bung, not you - pretty confident your post and mine are talking about the same thing.

Only doctors and Henry VIII would be thinking of stool in that way.

No doubt a valued Air NZ staff member, but an Air New Zealand crew member he is not. In an airline "crew member" refers to the staff that crew (fly or operate) the aircraft.
