I guess there might be delays as we approach the Christmas break.

BTW, my certificate was printed on Friday and it arrived today. Though I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive but got it in one business day.

An overview of the timeline so far

10th Dec 2020 - Applied online in Wellington

20th October 2021 - Asked to confirm the personal details

2nd November 2021 - Application got approved

26th November 2021 - Certificate printed

29th November 2021 - Received the certificate.

Have applied for the passport today. I will update once I get any updates.

Congratulations! Did they send you a tracking number when it was sent via post? And did you have to sign for it?

It’s been more than 10 business days and haven’t heard anything about passport application yet…

Did they send you a tracking number when the certificate was sent via courier? And did you have to sign for it?

There was no communication regarding the tracking number or anything as such. I was expecting the certificate to arrive around 15th Dec based on prior email. But it was in the mailbox first thing on Monday.

The oldest applications currently being processed were submitted in January, which mean all December applications is processed.

My case officer advised 2-3 days ago that he has already sent my application for second stage and I should be hearing from them shortly. But still no news?

your case a bit different than what I read before , because most people after confirm details they get approval.

just question on what basis they ask you for police certificate ? is because you livid there more than 4 months ?

Yes that’s correct & I provided my police certificate 10 mins after he requested as I’ve had it sorted beforehand. Few days after, I received another email from case officer saying that “I have sent your application for next stage & you’ll be hearing from us very shortly.

Maybe next stage is approval stage , this is only one I think I can think about , there was another person they ask him for PCC and after he sent it to them , he got approval , maybe wait until Tuesday.

Thanks , I hope they don't ask me for PCC , I visited a country multiple time but total is a bit shorter than 4 months
