Ge0rge:

Oh no, what happened?

Just a puncture, well a bit more than just a puncture. Completely shredded rear tyre so it couldn't be repaired on the roadside and the technicians don't carry a 3.5x10 inch tyre to suit a Vespa.

And yes, I do carry a spare as you can see in the photo but that can only be used on the front.

Voted today.

Enjoying the brief Schrodinger-like hiatus between voting and the result before I either open the Pol Roger or start looking around the world for a bolt hole. 😄

Temporary accommodation - 3 x the floorspace of my actual home, while that gets pulled apart and rebuilt.
Losing the dog and discovering he's actually just trotting about in the house, but on a different floor/wing to the rest of us.

Hate it when dogs wander to another postcode :-)

He is only checking the WiFi propagation conditions of the temporary home.

Great. So, how are you using the space? Indoor cricket?

The kids (teenagers) tried wrestling. That worked out as expected.

I am working on some performance counting code, but I appear to have accidentally created a random number generator instead. Useful for government statistics perhaps.

youtube has recently started blocking content posted by advertising youtubers for users of adblocker. The content of public service contributions remains unaffected. Let's see what the advertising youtubers say when their numbers and subscribers plummet. This whole system is sick in itself.

I just ordered some PC parts for an upgrade, you know, MB, RAM, SSD etc. I ordered from PBT and it's all turned up today after ordering a day or two earlier, so a smile is warranted there.

Then today. they send me an email , subject is 'hey looking for some PC parts?". And what do they have on the recommended list for me? The exact MB, RAM etc. that I already purchased !
