it was a one day sale at Paknsave Hastings so i presume he price matched it at another store. Well done.
Spot on. Price-matched in Hamilton at The Warehouse. Spotted it, posted on Cheapies, then drove down to my local TWH.
The war in the Gaza Strip has reached German schools, where lessons take up this topic. In some federal German states, Jewish and Palestinian children go to state school and conflicts are to be expected. School authorities will rigorously enforce neutrality on school grounds, smartphones (disturbing, fake social media postings) will also not be tolerated and will be mercilessly confiscated. Warlike conflicts (of any kind) are not a commodity for export.

Common sense is not as common as you think.
So many good/great results over the weekend. NZ v Ireland was top of that list, but Paul Coll winning the US open, and Squash finally making it to the Olympics are right up there. There were some local things too :)

I was stunned when I realised that squash wasn't an Olympic sport - I always thought it was. Amazing.

You failed to mention the All Whites rescuing a draw against Congo (DRC) who are ranked approximately 3000 places above them on the FIFA rankings.
Also - the Black Caps did some cricketing in their version of the World Cup, too. I think their cricketing was mostly successful and they are well-placed to make the next round of ball-whacking and throwing.

I have watched every minute of every RWC match including all the minnow games, for the 3rd consecutive world cup. If I watched Cricket or Football, I would be looking for a new place to live :)
I tend to watch if we make the Semi/Final in Cricket (semi in cricket WC was one of the top 10 moments of sport I've ever seen).
I am super happy Squash is in the Olympics because whilst it's currently, that we as NZ'rs dominate the commonwealth games, in Squash, excluding Egypt from Squash would be like excluding Europe from Football, it's just not going to present an accurate representation of the best in the sport.
Today's random question: If a dog's sense of smell is 200 times (or whatever) more sensitive than a human's, what must it do when a dog sniffs another dog's butt?

Answer: I suspect the same thing it does when he sniffs a human's butt?

Dropped my eldest son off at the football club this morning, so he can head off with the team to Napier, for the National Youth tournament.
So glad to see him getting the breaks he missed out on so often while he was younger - also great to see him really enjoying football again.

The ZM Nationwide Group Toot - When it goes off, it's such a great way to start a long weekend. Fletch and Vaughan really hype it.
Despite a hiccup, mightyape will deliver my new game today by 6pm, extra service didn't cost me a dime.
I've got Squash, followed by low n slow BBQ for dinner, followed by gaming, followed by the AB's game.
Today has lots of things to be happy about.
It's SO nice to have a few things going right and for the trend to be heading in the right direction after a fairly atrocious last 2-3 years.
Today was Patch and Maint Day. I love my little cube-shaped 12U 19" Noctua-vented IT cabinet in my office for four years now. It forces me to be energy-efficient, quiet and space-saving without having to make any functional sacrifices. I even have spare space that I use with an internal 2U rack drawer for accessories. And when the performance requirements are no longer sufficient, the modular element in question is replaced with another and not hoarded. For something new, something old has to go. 🙂
