I was particularly amused to hear about Mt Cleese.

That was the main reason I went there, got some great photos of it. Or at least as great as a pile of rubbish can get.

Did you, like Eric, climb the summit without an oxygen mask? After all, it's 4,520 mm A.S.L.! πŸ˜†

It was extremely muddy at the time I was there so I just admired the towering heights from a distance.

That I have another week of DST, despite believing it stopped this Sunday. YAY!

It should be DST all year around.

Not really sure I’d want that but I note the US does a long stint - 10 March to 3 Nov this year.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Savour it @networkn, you won't get another DST that last as many days as this one has (in NZ and notwithstanding any law changes) until the summer of 2051/52

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Yesterday, I baked all my cast iron pans and roasting pots again to give them a non-stick patina. Now they are like new again. But the kitchen still smells of hot (rapeseed) oil. 😁

Sky couch is the most pointless hard product for me. It’s fine if you’re shorter I guess.

Grandkids (1 & 2 years old by the time we travel) + my wife has had her knee replaced so being able to stretch it out is helpful. I also have one of our dogs that sleeps against me at nights so I am used to be curled up. It's our first time trying this, so we will see how it goes.

I’m back home in the sandpit after 24 hours of travelling. I need to stay awake for the rest of the day now.

We went to a nice cafe this afternoon and I paid 22.00€ (37.40 NZD) for a cup of Americano, a cup of black tea, a piece of cheesecake, a piece of chocolate tart and the usual tip. The cake was homemade by the cafe and I don't want to complain, everything has become more expensive and we don't have to if we don't want to.

However, after we got back home I ordered two special small diameter cake tins. I think I'll give it a try and manage that too. We eat extremely few sweets, but occasionally a small, sumptuous homemade fruit or chocolate tart - why not?

I firmly believe that picnics with home-made things will become more popular again ... and that girls will have to learn to cook again and boys will have to get dowels and nails in the wall again (or vice versa) - inevitably. 🀣

Our son.

He is studying in the 3rd semester of university and is preparing for a math test at home over Easter, which he knows that 60% of the students failed last semester. In between, he manages his orders from start-ups in the Berlin tech scene on the phone, rents and configures his first two virtual servers in a data center to service his customers and calls his tax advisor. As I know him and assess him, he will pass the math test. πŸ˜„
