Well played sir/madam.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

They all seem to be "up to spec" and I wonder whether they just happened to have one left over. Or maybe they just miscounted. New World bakery, not one of the big manufacturers.

The "iPhone Mirroring" feature in MacOS 15. Now I won't have to go and get my phone to use the Authenticator app every time I work from home!

If it works like Android and Windows Phone Link, then it won't allow mirroring of secure applications such as password managers and authenticators. Or have they demo running it?

Should have reversed in. Who was the person on here in recent months that was complaining about people reversing into carparks instead of driving in forwards?

The thing I read said "all apps", but it's apparently not available in beta 1 so it remains to be seen whether it is indeed all.

Over the weekend my son competed in a Squash Tournament. Watching one of the matches I got talking to an older woman. She was lovely. She pointed our her Husband who was on court at 74 Years Old. If that wasn't impressive enough, he gave my 14 year old son, a royal match that went to 5! The whole time he was running around, laughing and having a great time. After coming back from 2 love down and my son was struggling with his opponents play style, the older woman in between games told him to stop playing her husbands game and go back to playing his own style. He did, and won.

After the match I spent some time with the two of them, bought him a beer and just enjoyed their company. They were both genuinely happy for my sons win, even at the expense of his own loss. They adore each other and honestly, just being in their company made me feel so great. There are so many crappy people around, but these are salt of the earth, geniune, caring people.

Sometimes I think that just maybe we are a species worth saving.

I’m surprised this hasn’t become a thing actually. I can’t help wonder if those little cars that the posties use will ever make the 2nd hand car market …

In the early 1970s the NZPO Engineers office in Wellington had 2 Fiat 500s as pool cars. They were often parked side by side nose to kerb in 1 parking space. They weren't really saving much as they were so small 2 people going somewhere took 1 each.
