Thanks, and yeah, hes got a very expressive face :)

So many people who have met him have asked if hes a show dog, as everything about him is nicely balanced :D

Labs in general are such smooches and cute especially as puppies, so why have one if you didn't like it.... just give them to someone else straight away - they'd be taken in a heartbeat.

Our vet was surprised when we arranged the appointment over the phone, as we said he was a rescue, and they asked the breed - told them and they were like "A rescue lab ? That's rare".

Thomas checking out the new chair for size.

I think he should go back to the couch.

Nice looking chair though you may have to take it back and get the extra large size for Thomas, can’t have his legs dangling.

Tom has taken it over when he is not stretched out in front of the log burner.

He wasn't impressed when I sat in it the other day, jumped up on the back, and kept flicking me with his tail.

Our greyhounds, Zelda (Fawn color) and Timmy (Black color). They're super chill dogs and incredibly lazy, but also can be funny and cheeky.

Zelda, like I imagine many dogs do, has a very accurate cheese detection mode, even if she's in another room at the time.

If Timmy gets a GZ user account his handle can be GoodBoyNZ.

🤣

I can imagine his posts would be asking for "Advice on how to get more food from my humans", or "How do I get the guniea pig hiding in a bluetooth speaker out so I can eat meet it?"

The other day I put a bluetooth speaker next to my camera and played guniea pig squeaks out of it to get their ears to come up while we all posed together for a photo. But it worked too well, I had to hold on to Timmy tightly.

We adopted another dog.

Chocolate Lab pretty much the same age as our other dog, about 5 & 1/2 years old.
She's fitting in great and they get along well.  He's loving having a friend again.

After a little over three years since we lost our old Border Collie, we've adopted a Greyhound. He retired from racing after an injury in January, and has been waiting for a new home since March. He'll be four in December. We've only had him for a couple of weeks, and he's still settling in to suburban living. He does seem to be slowly getting used to his new way of life. I think we're going to do just fine.

Greyhounds are fantastic dogs, growing up the neighbors had a few of them, mostly for racing but had a couple that were house dogs. One a retired racer, and the other a "pup" who did not like racing - but drove the owners up the wall because Scarlett (the pup) would absolutely fly around the property (luckily 1/4 acre site) at such a speed :D

Cody still doing extremely well, while still a little jumpy, he's an absolute clown around the house.
