Kudos to both of these presenters. Him for being honest and her for being supportive of him and handling it like a total pro.

Possibly not the best career choice for him though?

Why ? , surely working to overcome difficulties is to be lauded.

Not if it interferes with your ability to do your job properly. The presenter is being paid to present. Viewers tune in to see the weather report. Yes, working to overcome difficulties is to be lauded, but this is not the proper venue for that.

I can see both sides.
I often present to large groups, boardrooms and senior execs. I don't suffer from nerves or anxiety specific to that, but I do occasionally have some mental struggles with anxiety and mild panic attacks.
I wouldn't change what I do simply because of this, but I do also see how it could be the wrong profession, if it was a trigger - which it's not for me.

I'd imagine this chap is the same - mostly it's controllable, but when it's not, it's not.

There's any number of performers that have stage fright before coming on.  Rod Stewart, Adele, Carly Simon, Barbara Streisand are just a few.

Meet Steve, he makes my whole family smile when he visits ... no clue who owns him, he just walks out of the bush and shouts at us till we scoot the cats away and feed him, which we do simply because he looks magnificent and when you look that good you deserve free stuff! :-)

It probably did some good for people who suffer that kind of thing. Realistically it's one bad night out of 365.

Yes. You will never be able to stop a determined kid from finding a way to access content. You can make it hard, some kids will give up, but you are better to deal with this as a parenting problem not a technology problem and explain why it's important they don't access that content. Start with the 'why'

I made my first sourdough that I was happy with today. It's taken a few weeks to get a really good starter and some trial and error but I'm really happy with the result while there's still considerable room for improvement.

Looks pretty damn good. Noel H does incredible sourdough I keep meaning to see if he will let me have some of his starter. For me the more sour the better and I don't like tough crust as it tears my mouth to shreds.

Thanks. It’s one of those processes where there’s a recipe but a lot of learning about your individual starter and kitchen. It’s based on a Brian Lagerstrom recipe but adapted a bit around timing and fridge proofing.

Once I get better at developing the gluten it should have much more spring.

Today I experienced probably the most impressive piece of technology I've seen in a good many years. It's absolutely mind blowing. It's made by Apple and costs as my as my first car.

Even if the demo process was slick. Say what you will, but few do 'polish' like Apple.
