Small compared with a car, and the bright colour is probably a good thing.
A 4 wheel bicycle with aerodynamic shell.

There's some werious cash tied up there - the Green machine was about $20k and the two Yeti mountain bikes behind it are about $16k each!

Being that the photo is credited as being taken at a bike shop, I'd figure there would be several more expensive tredleys kicking around in there πŸ˜‰

Having a colleague recommed a good listen whilst having a particularly stressful day.

Gravemind - Introsphere. A pleasant noise emanating from the HomePods.

Got out for a Father's Day ride on my eBike after a day of indulgence and i have to say, it put a smile on my dial.

I don't usually enjoy a road ride on my Mountain Bike, but I decided to have a blast around the block on the new eBike and despite it being a long travel eMTB, it certainly rode nicely on the bike paths.
Did approx 15km, averaging about 19km/h, which is certauinly quite different to what I'd do on my traditional MTB.

Riding up hills, into the wind etc - no issues. I much enjoy.

How much of a pig does it turn into if you have to ride without any assist?

Assume you're talking about the eBike?

It's not too bad on the flats and downs, but I wouldn't like to grind uphill on it.
There's no noticeable resistance, but it's nearly 24kg, so it's never going to be fun to climb unassisted.

Reading some of the comments for this Sunn O))) live performance:

The setlist: Eternal darkness and never ending suffering 0:00 - 1:37:18

"I’m in a band”
“Cool, what do you play?”
“A chord”

Society: You can’t just play 2 notes for an hour and a half
Sunn 0))): Hold my ceremonial wine…

An impressive amount of almost 2 notes were played that night

1:08 1st note
46:05 2nd note
1:22:48  violin solo

etc.

Cooking with my kids.

Watching Miss 12 slicing and dicing with confidence, understanding flavours that work well together and learning the importance of an instant read Thermometer and things like caramelisation, is awesome.

Last night she scolded me for even being involved in a 'dish so simple' :)

I see you are beginning to suffer from Intellectually Handicapped Parent Syndrome.
This is a completely untreatable disease from which almost all parents suffer.

Fortunately you will make a spontaneous and usually quite rapid recovery when Miss 12 has become Miss 18 or Miss 20 - although some cases make quicker or much slower recoveries. Once you have recovered, you will find that your ideas and opinions suddenly become not merely comprehensible, but actually sensible, even valuable, to the youg person concerned.

Not sure who said that, but it was Lemmy who said that if they moved in next door to you your grass would die.

We’re fostering for a dog rescue at the moment. I’d kind of forgotten how enjoyable it is to walk a dog when they have been taught to walk properly.

When you’re in your groove together and you can walk with a slack lead in two fingers it really is one of those very pure joys. The only real problem is feeling like she’s not going to stay a foster, which will cost me a fortune at some point.

Cooking with my kids.

My 3 year old loves helping with the cooking, he's graduated to slicing the softer vegetables himself, like mushrooms (yes I know mushrooms are not technically a vegetable).

Meanwhile my 20 month old is quite happy to spend half an hour out on the deck washing potatoes. He does need a change of clothes afterwards but he has so much fun. Fortunately potatoes don't bruise easily.

Miss 5 though, so unhelpful πŸ™„
