Got out on my bike again this weekend with my eldest son - so good to have some time with him one-on-one, as he's largely an adult now and I don't see as much of him as I used to.

So nice that you have such a great relationship with him. Many dads don’t connect as much to their sons as to daughters.

Back in 2013 my then 14yo son and I roadtripped around the south-west USA in a convertible Mustang. We rode rollercoasters, visited a zoo and an airplane graveyard, ate a lot of pizza and drank a lot of coke, you get the gist. Great time, great bonding, we still talk about it today. I'd recommend this sort of thing to any father/son.

He's now living his adult life in Perth, next year the two of us are going on safari together in Africa.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Yeah, we are fortunate with both of our boys that they are good humans that actually don't mind being around us.
In fact, they both still go out of their way to give my wife and I a hug goodnight (assuming they are home) before they go to bed.

I have also had good service with them when I was expecting it to become dire, and often they have things at a lower price than kogan/ds websites do. Yay for primate on that too.

Being able to spend time with colleagues in person.

90+% of my meetings are on teams. I don’t miss the days of always being in the office but it’s great to see my team, which is distributed across Europe and the Middle East.
