My son has been nagging me for one of these since they came out, I told him he will need to save up at least 1/2 of the $799 need for it, He would love me for ever if I got this one!! or at least until the bigger better model came out (you know how 12yr old boys are, latest and greatest only thank you very much)
I have 10 Tablets in my pocket but they are only good for headaches and pain!! (like the constant naggingUndecided)

Here's my current tablet, it's a 7 inch generic one running Android 1.6. Too slow and nothing much you can do. Winning an Acer Iconia A500 will be the highlight of 2011 for me!

TIA Mauricio! ;)

Worth a go entering I guess, even though my odds are not good!

I currently just use my IDEOS when I'm on the couch at home. It's fine, but a bit slow and the screen is small. This would be a great addition to our household, I reckon!

I wish I had the yellow back to complete the set!

I would like to have this, :)

Thanks

I need an Acer Iconia A500 to so I can end my wives addiction to the internet and in particular web sites about baby names, babies, and Facebook. My wife browses these type of websites all day and night while complaining about the spacebar not working because the other kid pulled it off the laptop.

I will accomplish this by using the Iconia A500 to tell all of her Facebook friends to naff off in a nice way, and we will call the new baby Iconia when it arrives. I will then use the Iconia (tablet, not baby) to order a new keyboard for our broken laptop.

Galaxy I 9000My trusty (or perhaps not so trusty) Galaxy I9000 complete with it's  TPU cover that is oh-so-practical but seems to pick up filth!

Still, better that when I use it with GPS for off-road mountainbiking!

I have been averse to these coffee table coasters (tablets) so far but am beginning to see their usefulness. However, the Acer tab seems pretty cool. It's in some shops already and the best thing is that it's an Android and not an apple OS.
Anyway I am a web designer (of sorts) so it would be good to have a play!

I currently use an HP laptop and/or an iPhone 4.  I'm starting to like the iphone so an android device might save me from becoming an apple zealot

Currently running a 5+ year old HP laptop - this would be great because I could much more easily watch movies / read in bed.

I currently have a crappy iPad 2 3G 32gb.  I'm sick and tired of how Apple locks everything down and am not interested in jailbreaking it.  I want a tablet which will give me the freedom I'd like, and the Acer Iconia A500 fits the bill perfectly.

The photo attached was taken on the day I got my iPad 2 (NZ launch day).  Apologies for the quality, but it is the only photo I have on me at the moment.
