Yeah i know that, thats why when people compare android to iPhone it simply does not make sense.

Maybe i should have said  "Android devices" .

Anyway the point I was trying to make across is that there alot of great android devices out there
and iPhone's are great too.

Personal Preference is what it comes down to.

"I want to buy the iPhone 5 in black please, 64gb"
Erm, we don't have it yet.
"But I saw it got released on the internet?"
Re-read the internet.
"No, you have the iPhone 5 and I want one now please"
We don't have the iPhone 5 yet!
"Yes you do, the internet doesn't lie"
No sorry, it's just been announced today.
"I'm making a complaint, you're not selling me the iPhone 5"

joutei: iPhone = apple fanboy
Android = android fanboy

Neither will admit the pro's or con's of each product.

Why ?  That's Life !

Exactly. Pity is that fans can talk about them, banter, be constructive. Its the fanbois that get in the way of intelligent conversation.

macuser: I think ... their UI gets out of the way a little more.  Android UI designer Matias Duarte (ex Danger, Palm WebOS) has an excellent job in creating a digital native UI for Android that uses great visual ques to help you use the phone.

Sure... Then OEMs go and crap the whole thing out by implementing their own UI, launchers and whatever else shitty bells and whistles they can think of, making the whole thing a mess.

Nope. Windows Phone OTOH hand has a nice UI that allows lots of customisation with informative information on screen...

I'd say that was off topic in this thread, but whyPhone has already been mentioned.

it comes down to how you would be using your mobile.

if your are into the whole customizing the hell out of your phone sort of person then android is your choice

if you want a plain simple smartphone that works get an iphone.

haters gon hate but in the end you are using the phone not them so don't always listen to what they want you to get. its hard to find good reviews with mobile since everyone is either trolling android or iphone.

It's a bit sad actually;  of the current generation of phones the windows phone is the one that seems the most innovative, both in terms of UI and hardware. A pity noone buys them and microsoft\nokia seem determined to ruin a really innovative product with really crap release process\release cycles.

I particularly like how an outdated version of Android is a feature.
