stevenz: The Five(Ish) Doctors Reboot" is pretty hilarious.

I enjoyed that very much.

I suggest everybody who thinks they know how many Doctors physically appeared in The Day of The Doctor should watch it right to the very very end of the credits :-)

TwoSeven: I don't think there was ever a hard limit on the number of doctors - way back it was 9, then 12 and as we know, rules can be changed? He regenerates from the tardis, so what happens if the tardis decides to ignore the script writers rules?

It's been set at 12 since "The Deadly Assassin" back in the 70s. The same story also suggests a couple of "workarounds".

I think the TARDIS does whatever the writer tells it to do, although the regen isn't from the TARDIS itself per se.

BurningBeard: So many nods to the classic series in this anniversary special.

Some obvious, some not so obvious.

Did anybody notice the name of the UNIT girl wearing the scarf? Her name was Osgood. That's also the name of one of the Brigadier's men in the Tom Baker era. His daughter perhaps? Potential for a new companion even?... jus' sayin'....

She could be a good companion, but then the day of the doctor almost made it essential that Clara sticks around for a while as she is the only one that will know the full and true history of the Doctor...

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

I'm not a Dr Who fan, but I watched An Adventure in Space and Time today and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The BBC certainly know how to make good television.

Cheers,
Joseph

Yep! Got tickets. Just need to work out where I put them. Think it's the Saturday matinee session.
