You wrong there. Matter is formed all the time. If this was not the case the universe would not be expanding.

There's no "new" matter. All matter is here since the beginning of times when it was heavily dense before it started expanding.

New matter creation would contradict the Conservation Laws.

What about Einsteins law? hmmm now it gets interesting. Surely you can get mass from energy? Or does it only work the one way round?

Energy isn't stuff per se, it is the thing that all stuff has.

I agree. But it sure is questionable. What came first, matter or energy? Surely energy initiated the big bang?

Matter can be seen to be just "coalesced energy" held together by an assortment of forces.

No - there's no "surely" - that energy initiated the big bang.
In fact it creates a paradox - where did that energy come from?

I dont think I said or implied that. Creation of life simplistically, is water, electricity, that creates aminos, the building blocks of life. I expect that anywhere, elsewhere in the universe, where the elements are the same, that carbon based life can be created as it was here. Our earth has a wide range of conditions, so a planet that was much cooler, or much hotter, or toxic, can hold life, we have that here. I believe that to create carbon based life, you do need the same raw conditions, they dont have to be identical to ours. What alien life may look like will depend on the planets features. If it was harsh, these may never get past primitive organisms, if it was less harsh, I cannot see why evolution cannot progress.

I suggest that in the only "goldilocks zone" example we've yet been able to observe closely (Earth), carbon based life did in fact form (unless the pansermia hypothesis is correct). So the only direct evidence we have suggests that given those conditions, life will form.

That answer depends on if you religious or not.

My thoughts are not about the big bang itself. But more around what happened before the big bang, even a spit second before it happened. Did matter exist before the big bang? IMO no it did not. Only energy existed. But thats just my opinion on all this.

Again IMO, Energy can create matter. We just have not done it yet.

The laws of physics cannot be applied in the time before the big bang. Even a microsecond before it happened.

Whats your opinion on dark matter and dark energy? There is proof it exists but is there proof that its not expanding and its mass is not increasing. When you talking about the universe are you refering to only the 5% of it which we can see and measure etc... or are you including the 95% of the universe we actually know very little about.

Before the big bang there was no universe. We were at a state of 0 universe. Probably should be number 4) on your list.
