Yes, I rewatched it on iPlayer last night via UnblockUS. But the iPlayer stream doesn't appear to be HD.

No it was not the best quality but if your go for the download option you can choose HD,

Points taken but DNS/VPN/iPlayer/Unotelly are not "NZ broadcast".

agree with revenue; it was a crap episode, the new theme music is awful but caoaldi was rather good.

Using get_iplayer you can download the 720p version and in Stereo (not DD). 1.3gb or so flv.. Looks beautiful imho.

The theme is an improvement on the last one IMO. The only re-working of the theme that kept the spooky vibe for me was Davison's theme.

The Murray Gold ones are a bit OTT (says the guy who did his own overblown epic version containing elements of Gold's theme.)

Looking forward to watching episode 2 tonight. Are prime going to show DW Extra. It was great background to how the show was made.

Ep 2 sitting on a usb stick waiting to watch once I finish some housework. Prime is too little too late and the more people who tell them they have already seen it and they missed out by tardiness and blurriness the better.

The old guy in the alley scene with the coat is apparently the husband of the late Elisabeth Sladen (for those that don't know - Doctor Who companion from the 70s, Sarah Jane Adventures etc).

I agree... much better. Still not a shade on Matt Smith. He's quite a bit darker and loved how Clara is also leading the Doctor rather than him being the centre of attention.
