I Also have a UE Boom (little brother of the one here on offer) and have been using it outdoors to entertain myself and my family while we dig up the lawns and resew it.
It has also helped us while away the time while building the new fence, and then stain it.

I still have to dig up the berm and other sections of lawn, and a second coat of stain has to be applied at some stage....
I'm also rebuilding the deck next summer and putting up a veranda as well.

Why am I telling you all this?
The Megaboom would be great for filling in the drudgery with sounds from my phone from Pandora and other great sound sources!

(just planted the front lawn last night, the back lawn was done exactly a year ago and is now looking pretty good!)

All I have is a 6 year old plasma tv and an Amazon Fire TV ... would love to pair it with the AFTV while the wife will definitely use it for her music.

I think I'd use it as a makeshift soundbar for my telly

Yup.

That's what I'd do.

In to win!

Would love one of these, have been eyeing up the boom for the last couple of months, almost fell over when i saw the Mega boom the other day.

Currently have the first iteration of the logitech mobile boombox.

I'm in to win.

Just moved into a new house, and haven't been able to bring my AV system with me. THe TV speaker is awful, and I would pair this with the truly excellent Amazon FireTV.

Currently I have a Mini Boom, so I know the Mega Boom will output some decent sounds!

This speaker would make my phone into a mega stereo. I currently use only headphones.

It would be a nice upgrade for my current UE Mini. Useful for having a bit of background noise while working in the office after hours!

Oh this looks nice! No current portable speakers. I would most probably use it outside and around when I'm working, and also when some sounds are needed for outdoor entertaining.

Currently using my phone's speaker while watching video on treadmill which I can't barely hear while running.
Hopefully this will amplify the sound better.

My plan is to use them in conjunction with different devices like phone, TV etc without worrying about wires.
Don't have any portable speakers right now.

Mine is pretty (very!) old school. They served me well for my first few OE's, connecting up to a Walkman. When running unpowered, have to have the volume up a bit or else 1 speaker cuts out!

My current Logitech speakers died, so this will be a great replacement for when I'm out and about with mates kicking a ball around or at the beach (but probably not in winter)
