I have an aging Yamaha surround kit for movies in the living room, but the kids have progressively taken it over to use Sky - I'm relegated to the family room where the TV speakers are just not up to the job.  This would help my plan to take over the family room and turn it into a man cave.

Procrastination eventually pays off.

Currently using this badboy with dead 3G to stream radio in the office for me and the co-worker. A nice grunty speaker would go down very well indeed. Might not even hear the phone anymore if it's loud enough :)

I would use it in our lounge if we win it.  We have a UE boom at the moment but it would be nice to have this.

As you can tell from the finger prints we have kids and they have just learned to not destroy everything that they can in the house.  So now it is a great time to get a surround sound system to go with the lcd TV.

I don't use anything now in our kitchen. Would be very useful in the kitchen while me doing some cooking (very occasionally).

I'd love to win this.

New house and there's a need to stream radio and music in our bedroom. The missus has unearthed her old minisystem from her student days that we've been storing in a cupboard for the past five years. She's stuck it pride of place on top of the bedroom dresser, all ready for me to connect *somehow* to our network.

I've decided it's probably most simple to just refuse to plug it in - well, I'm still "getting around to it" to be accurate. Any day now. Haven't quite had the chance, sorry, but it's right at the top of the to-do list.

It's been a month thus far and it's gone to plan perfectly. I haven't the heart to tell her no, and I don't want to invalidate the effort she has made storing it and schlepping it around for half a decade by telling her it actually can't connect to our server no matter how many times she asks.

I figure I'm good for another month of delays before she gets suspicious -

Please help mate, would be most appreciated ;)

Still want one for the bathroom. :) And the kitchen, and the guest bedroom, and our bedroom, and the office.....

This would be great for the PC on the dining room. Currently just using the speakers from the monitor. There is a Logitech Squeezebox in the lounge but it is no longer being developed. Very sad!

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

This would replace my 20 year old Samsung surround sound system, which is starting to crackle...loudly.
