Also the more recent photos of him, he looked ill, you can often just tell that there isn't something quite right. In a way it is good that he kept it private, otherwise the media preys on that sorry of thing, which wouldn't have before any recovery.

No but I've had a very close relationship with his music since I was a child. He was my number one guy. Plus I'm a musician and artist myself... we can be a sensitive bunch sometimes.

He had a heart attack on the tour I saw him on. Rumor has it that he'd had several more heart attacks since.

Do you have to be so negative? I'm taking it that your question was sarcastic and rhetorical (although I could be wrong and maybe you really meant it).
Accept that many people (myself included) thought he was great, and provided the soundtracks to our lives.

This was after the heart attacks. But obviously he wanted to keep his health private. I suspect there was a partial leak but it was stomped on, I suspect it is very difficult to keeps these things private.
