Boy George's 70's. Pleasant diversion. Explores the intersection between Culture Club and punk music of the day. Mostly BG wandering around London pointing at stuff and visiting old places. Bits of music here and there.

I've been watching "Parched" on Nat Geo.

An eye opener for sure.

Saudi Arabia Uncovered on Netflix shows the shocking reality of life in this obviously awful country and continues to reinforce how lucky I am to live here in NZ.

When you see this footage, you have to question just why do the US and UK continue such a close relationship? And when you see just what the kids are taught in school, you understand why the world is in such a mess.

Haha, i was just going to post the same doco .. .  .

Watch on youtube...

Huge double standards , we are against human rights abuses, yet gladly do business with evil people when it suits.

Watched this from your link, thanks.
So glad I wasn't born there!!! The world is scary.

Went to see "Pecking Order", primarily because one of my neighbours from over the back fence when I was a kid in new Plymouth was in it.

If you're into both the showing of poultry and the personalities and petty politics that go with it - then it's for you. Otherwise, probably not. Probably not much difference to the politics in a lot of local clubs and organisations though. 5/10

I just watched the South Park History Channel doco on Thanks Giving.

Very enlightening, worth a watch.

I never knew the Pilgrims were, um, aliens.

A Billion Lives.

It's an eye-opener into the tobacco/tobacco control industries.

Only let-down is Aaron Biebert needs a better voice for narration.

Something close to my heart, as a now ex-smoker after 32 years on tobacco.

I haven't seen it, but I've seen one clip of some interviews with his lady friends. If you're not at that part yet, I suggest you stop eating if you are. I'm definitely not linking the interview on here.

'Sgt Pepper" on Prime Rocks a couple of weeks ago - wonderful.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Some of those Prime Rock docos are just great.

My personal favorite was Genesis and the Beach Boys was pretty good too.

The War (Netflix) Ken Burn about ww2.

He also did series on American Civil War and American Prohibition..

All based around voices reading diaries and letters with historical context. The War has some live footage as it's the most recent.
