No, I don't claim they are deplorable, I think they are unwise, and poorly chosen. Her apology wasn't specific enough. I don't think that AUTOMATICALLY makes her a bad person as you have asserted, we won't agree it seems on this, so let's both move on.

The word "unwise and poorly chosen" implies that you don't consider someone who basically declared serious allegations raised by a person against third parties to be unworthy of concern based solely on the accuser's occupation to not be a very serious matter. Thanks for confirming how much work NZ society has to go on these things. From my POV, I sure am glad to share the planet with the likes of you.

I'm officially giving up. Even being a naturally tenacious sort (people do joke that an ex-prosecutor never leaves the job), there are limits. It's impossible to change a closed mind - one can only hope that demographics eventually does its thing and by the time I am about 90 (if I am still alive then), it'll be socially unacceptable to minimise the sort of behaviour exhibited by Comer and the Chiefs' CEO. Props to most posters on here, however, the comments have been considerably more enlightened than the cesspool of garbage on the likes of Tony Veitch's ZB Show's FB page.

Her comments have nothing to do with what the woman's occupation is, her comments are along that old argument that if a woman dresses in sexy clothes or is naked then it's her fault if the men cant control themselves and is one of the reasons that woman dont report rapes . Her comments absolutely disgusted me and i dont care what the story is behind them , because it doesnt matter. No person, in this day and age, should think like that and for a woman to say it makes it even worse.

Common sense is not as common as you think.
