Given that I'm currently using my father's old Vodafone Smart Something - the sloooooooooowest thing ever made - this Motorola would be the perfect replacement. I'm also struggling with 8GB of storage - but I guess I shouldn't be given the phone can't run most of the apps properly anyway. Podcast Addict? Freeze. Samsung Gear apps? Oh, just make sure it can't actually connect to the watch... I've never been closer to actually smashing a phone in frustration...

My MotoG gave the Nokia 3310 a run for its money in terms of the amount of falls, drops, sit-ons and accidental lobs across the room - until the day it didn't. As you can see, it's days are done. Long live the MotoG, all hail the MotoE(5)!!

I would be replacing a Samsung A5 with a cracked screen. It has been dropped more times than Paul Henry, and it too is showing the miles!

I will be replacing the missuses Samsung J-something, the ones that are so crippled you can't even update the firmware let alone any of the apps on them.

The ones that would make a good class action lawsuit as unfit-for-purpose if we were in the US.

Would be a great replacement for my aging Moto G2 with a battery that now lasts less than four hours.

Good luck everyone.

I'm posting on behalf of my better half.. she has had such a bad run with phones lately.. she's been though a whole bunch of them.. but there is one that has always been there for her.. and that is the SGS3.  However, it's getting a bit long in the tooth now, and apps are not updating, or are running deadly slow and the battery does much less well than she would like.  As mentioned, she has tried upgrading, and every time she has ended up sending the phone back because they have all died on her well before the warranty was out.. but the SGS3 is always been there for her.  But, she would love an upgrade, and this phone would be the perfect way for her to move on.

My son has an iPhone 5, that has handed down to him by a sibling that was handed down from another.  The battery has been replaced once, but is once again tired.  The screen is partially cracked.  He doesn't care about brands, and would be wrapped to win a Motorola moto e5 smartphone.

I have a 2015-vintage VF Android Smart 6 with only 8GB of memory - which fills rapidly.
I find the user interface unintuitive and user-hostile.
Battery dying.
Now very slow and unreliable (constipated memory?).
